Q&A

At Buffalock and Key, I am committed to being your qualified expert for all your locksmith needs. Take a look at the list of frequently asked questions below for some useful answers. I'll be happy to answer any other questions you might have. You can call or feel out the contact form.

DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL CONSULTATIONS?

I’d be happy to hear about your lock or key issue and offer solutions. Sometimes, texting or emailing a picture of the key, lock, or door in question can help me provide better advice or an accurate quote. However, most locksmith jobs can be quoted with just a few simple questions.

DO YOU CHARGE BY THE HOUR?

I charge for results rather than labor. For most service requests, I provide firm quotes over the phone before scheduling the work. These quotes consider several factors, including time, necessary tools, the complexity of the job, material costs, travel distance, time of day, and extreme weather conditions. Once a quote is agreed upon, the price remains fixed, even if the job takes longer than anticipated.

PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Since Buffalock and Key is a one-man operation, I’m flexible with payment methods. I accept all major credit cards and various money transfer apps. My goal is to make the entire process as smooth as possible—from providing clear details on the initial call to arriving on time, completing the job efficiently, and offering convenient payment options.

They also design and implement master key systems, which allow businesses to control access to various areas efficiently.
