CAN YOU REPLACE MY LOST CAR KEYS?

Most likely the answer is YES! I make car regular car keys, transponder car keys, prox and smart keys, remote head keys, flip keys and more! For more specific information about what I can do for you I would need to know the year, make and model of your vehicle.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CALLING YOU INSTEAD OF THE DEALER?

The main benefit is that I come to the car to make the keys so there's no need to tow the car anywhere. Another benefit is that many times I'd be over and done making your new car keys within the hour. Last but not least: for most makes and models my price would be significantly cheaper. I also offer great deals on duplicate keys if you get one together with the first key.

I SAW ON YOUTUBE HOW TO OPEN MY CAR, ITS LOOKS SO EASY. SHOULD i TRY IT MYSELF?

I'm all for DIY attitude, and there's a good chance you would be able to get your car open yourself. BUT, two things I have to say about this:

1. Please have me come out only after you've exhausted your efforts and gave up. There's a good chance you'd be successful and it's very annoying to get somewhere to find the service is not needed anymore or to have the call cancelled when I'm already on my way.

2. Without the specialized tools, there's a good chance you'll damage the weather stripping or the door. Is it really worth it to save a few dollars? In most cases I would argue it is not. Besides, though some locksmiths like to take advantage of people in distress and charge exorbitant fees, that is not me. I always try to be fair with my prices and provide quotes over the phone.

I LOST MY ONLY CAR KEY AND THE DEALER SAYS THEY HAVE TO REPLACE MY COMPUTER AND THAT IT WILL COST THOUSANDS. WHAT CAN I DO?

You can call me of course! The way the first generation of the Toyota immobilizer and Saab for example were designed, the only way to enter programming mode for new keys is with the help of an existing programmed key. If that key is lost - the car's computer (ECU) needs to be replaced with a new one, and that is COSTLY. The way I can save you thousands, is that I can take that same computer out of the car and using specialized tools and training, I read and/or manipulate the data on it in order to create a new key. Due to the specialized tools and training needed to complete this work, it is not cheaper but usually its hundreds rather than the thousands it would cost to replace teh computer.

WILL YOU PROGRAM THE KEYS I PURCHASED ON AMAZON/EBAY/ONLINE?

I have no problem programming keys and remotes you've purchased on your own. However, I do not warranty keys that were not purchased from me. In my experience it happens quite a lot that one reason or another people don't have the correct keys or remotes for their car. If thats the case the programming won't work or the remote might function partially. If you bring your car to me that's not a problem, but if I come out to you, I would also quote you a price if I end up having to use a key from my own stock in case yours doesn't work. you will have to agree to that price before I come out. I will first try your key and hopefully everything will work fine.

DO YOU CHARGE A SERVICE CALL?

My service call fee is part of the total price quote over the phone. The only part of the final price I sometime forget to mention is the tax. Other than that what I quote is what you will pay IF I"M SUCCESSFUL. Though I put a lot of time money and effort into my tools and training, on rare occasions for one reason or another I am not successful in making a key. In those cases I do not charge anything. In some cases the job takes much longer than I anticipated. In those cases I stick to my original quote.
